Frequently Asked Questions
What is up with the pink suits?
We collaborated with a mill in Sweden to produce the toughest, most durable fabric. The silicone coating will make the fabric shed water and reduce wear.
The heavier silicone on the ARGO suits created a pastel effect on the red fabric, which makes it a little fruity.
The fabric has fabulous technical specifications. This disruptive technology comes in a disruptive colour.
What does MINUS 90 mean?
Rigging and surveying: minus 90 is the inclination reading when you survey straight down a pitch. Usually you are in an awkward body position, hanging over the edge but, that's the price you pay for exploration ;)
How much do the suits shrink?
Not much.
If you hand wash and line dry expect:
- ARGO 0.7% shrinkage
- Cheve 1.5% shrinkage
If you machine wash and dry on hot expect:
- ARGO 1.4% shrinkage
- Cheve 2% shrinkage
Where are they made?
Early versions are sewn in our basements. The high quality suits for sale are produced at a small, technical sewing facility in Vietnam that pays a living wage to employees
